George's island

Here's a shot of a little pillbox located on one of the corners of Fort Warren on George's Island (part of the Boston Harbor Islands). A great day trip.

It's back.

I've decided to revive the photoblog. I'm shooting a lot more now that we're settled in Cambridge and it should be fun again. I've also recently purchased an epson R-D1 rangefinder, so I'm having a great time with that. Here's a few shots from the Campfire festival last Sunday at Club Passim in Harvard Square. The bands are Thunderpants and La Tuza (in that order).

Well, I'm pretty psyched about this. This shot is a finalist in the Philadelphia Center for the Photographic Image/City Paper photo contest.

There's a whole field of these strange wierd rocky mounds in a field. Soon it will be a walmart or condos.
